With the Armidale Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Graham Maddox.

The Armidale Symphony Orchestra and Choral Society will be joined by the Acacia String Quartet for the performance of Elijah

The Acacia Quartet are regularly heard on ABC Classic. They have been commissioned to record all of
Elena Katz-Chernin's string quartet music. From a recent review:

[Throughout the concert,] Acacia Quartet performed so well that at times they seem like only one instrument, such is their clarity and unison. The colours they bring out of music ranges from deathly quiet to intensely dynamic.... [It’s always] such a pleasure listening to them.

— Rob Kennedy for City News Canberra, August 2018

The Acacia Quartet will also present a concert during their visit to Armidale. Details are below.
